[Hello, Luceti! There's a friendly, chubby face that blinks onto the network, and before he even begins to speak there's a voice that's clearly not coming from him yelling loudly in the background.]

It's a stupid idea! Who ever heard of a book that could talk?! You've been watching too much of that mecha stuff!

[The boy looks back, holding up his book and waving it slightly. Through the motion, there's another boy pacing anxiously.]

Pearl~ It's on! We can ask them now!

[TOTALLY IGNORING THAT ORANGE FONT NOW YUP you can see more of the first boy now, naked top up with light blue wings fluttering slightly.]

Hello! I'm Diamond, and that's my friend Pearl in the background--

You're talking to a book, Diamond! Quit foolin' around!

-- and we're new here. Um... Oh! Let's ask if they've seen Missy, Pearl!

I'm tellin' you, there isn't anyone here!

[The book's grabbed roughly and a blond boy glares angrily into the feed. He's actually dressed and his wings are a nice fluffy pink.]

See? Nothing but a book! A blank, useless page at that! Let's just... look around. Our Pokémon are missing, you know, so we have to find them.

But we should stay put so someone can find us--

That's only if you get lost!

[This angry Pearl dude snaps the book shut, and so ends the feed.]

Dia, no, Diamond! [He jerks him to the side and hisses in his ear.] Are you seriously going to ask someone to help us find our Pokémon!? We don't even know if they're friendly or not!

Yeah, we're new. Who're you?

My name's Aang. I'm from another world, but I like to do what I can to help newcomers. If you tell me what your Pokemon look like, I can try to find 'em for you!

My Pokémon are all really big, so they'll be pretty noticeable. [Giant tortoise, giant mammothpig, giant ball of gum, giant moving statue, giant shield...] Oh, except Lax! He's a big eater though.

[Sorry Pearl. Aang seems like a nice guy!]

Mine are pretty noticeable too. Not really big like Dia's, but they're pretty different than the wildlife here.

Chahiko's gonna be looking for us, Dia, he'll probably have Lax...

Okay. I'm gonna keep my eyes out for them then. [So, creatures that look weird. No problem.] It's nice to meet you two, too - what's your names? [He keeps hearing a "Dia" somewhere in there but it's nice to ask.]

Oh, you know Platina? I'm friends with her too! She's great, and I bet she'll be real glad to see you again! [Of course, she's also likely to be worried about them being stuck here, but he knows very well, from both firsthand experience now and from reactions to when he first showed up, how one can miss their friends at this place.]

Missy's made friends?! [Look how happy you made him!] I'm glad! That means she wasn't lonely here, even without us around.

That's a relief... [Phew.] Missy can be a little [off-putting??] weird at first, so I'm glad she's found people other than us to put up with it.

[pearl don't be so mean ):]

I never thought she was weird. She's so cool and has cool Pokemon, and I got to sled on her Penpolio! [Sometimes... he has trouble remembering Pokemon's names.] I don't think she was too lonely. She lives with most of the other trainers here after all! But if you're both good friends of hers, I bet she missed you a lot.

[Penpolio... Her Empoleon!] Do you think Empoleon will let us sled on her too, Pearl? That'd be a lot of fun~

We've missed her too! Well, I mean, we saw her recently, but she's here too, so we've missed her anyway.

All the trainers share a house? [That's the important part.] How many of them are there?

I really hope you guys get to go sledding too, it's super fun! And I know exactly what you mean! When I first got here, I had just seen Sokka and Katara recently, but they were here in Luceti too, so I missed them anyway!

Most of them do! But those twins who like trains live in a different house, I think. And let's see, there's a bunch of them. Well... Gold just went home... [He says slightly sadly.] But I think there's still at least five of them there?

Trains sound like a lot of fun... It must be really fun for everyone to live in the same place though!

[not to mention smelly and gross]

Sounds like it'd be kinda noisy. [He's used to being an only child ~~aside from his broship with Diamond~~ why so many trainers in one place.] But five's not bad, and with me and Dia there it'll be seven... Yeah, that's not too bad.

Trains are fun! But I agree that you should stay close to your friends. I bet you'll all have lots of fun together!

And how do you deal with food?

I do! I mean, right now I only live with four of my people. Two of them are my best friends from back home, one of them's my granddaughter from the future, and the other's my next life's best friend! There were more people, but they're not here anymore. [Sniff everyone going home. Well Suki just moved out after a fight with Sokka.] And we deal with food by, uh, eating it! Almost every night we have family dinner - Katara does most of the cooking but we all help with either cooking or cleaning. That's the rules!
